A
Plethora of Playable
RACES!
Have you ever played a rolegame and
complained that the number of playable races was too low, especially if the
game had scores of detailed non-player-character races? If you've ever
perused the monsters in an RPG's bestiary and gotten excited about playing one
of the exotic humanoid races, only to be told you can't play them because
they're only intended to be NPCs, you should like this.
Astroscape Zero is, at
its core, a sword-and-sorcery RPG, although of course there's a whole lot more
than that to it. But I started with the "tyipcal" fantasy races, and then went
crazy, with major race groups, minor races, and plenty of detailed subspecies.
