Evervale
Fictitious setting
Evervale made its first appearance in
"Plutonian Infractions,"
wherein an animal control officer is called to this small city's urban
park to deal with an unlikely loose animal: Cerberus, escaped from the
gates of Hades. That story appeared in Amazing Journeys #2.
Later, it occurred to me that if Evervale
played host to Cerberus and company from mythological locales, maybe other
strange things would happen there. As such, Evervale makes another
published appearance with
"Feeding Frenzies." (Or maybe it doesn't. That anthology
canceled, and the story was released... just like what happened with my
Billy Joel songs comparison!)
Another of my stories, as yet
unpublished, is set in Evervale--proving that this fictitious little city
has become something of a melting pot of the bizarre in some of my works.
