limited edition

Limited editions are usually produced in limited runs—usually very short runs, say 500 or 1,000, or even less (perhaps more if the book were a runaway blockbuster). Limited editions may also be signed by the author, numbered, or feature very fancy and expensive special edition material—the very best paper, leather covers inlaid with gold lettering, hand-sewn bindings, larger format than the original (or than most paperbacks), and so on. Since print runs are so short with limited editions, and since they are viciously sought by collectors, the price is already going to be high; so publishers generally spare no expense in adding every neat feature they can find and regularly come up with new ideas. Expect to pay a hundred or more for any limited edition, usually much more.

literary fiction

Literary fiction is recognized by the general tendency for theme and/or characterization to be the focal points; plot is reduced or even nonexistent.

low fantasy

Low fantasy is often contrasted with high fantasy. Low fantasy generally takes place in the current, or real, world, although with fantastic elements such as magic making things different than what the real world would normally encompass.
